TouVelle House Bed & Breakfast in Jacksonville Oregon welcomes you with modern comforts in a vintage setting. Restful gardens and verandas, feather-soft bedding, and wonderfully delicious home-made breakfasts create a special retreat. You will find one of our 6 guest rooms (all with private baths) is a perfect fit for you. This handsome 3-story Craftsman style home is walking distance (just 3-5 blocks) to everything in the National Historic Landmark town of Jacksonville, Oregon. Originated in the 1850's gold rush, Jacksonville is nestled among Madrone and pine trees in the foothills of the Siskiyou Mountains in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Just 5 miles from I-5 at Medford and 17 miles from Ashland, it is the perfect base from which to explore all of Southern Oregon.

A Country Estate, Right In Town

TouVelle House Bed & Breakfast provides a country-like setting right in town. With 1.3 acres of landscaped grounds we offer lots of space to relax including a sparkling saline swimming pool, sauna and a bocce court.

Jacksonville is full of wine, music, history and fun. We are the Gateway to the Applegate Valley Wine Trail with 18 wineries, and the heart of the entire Southern Oregon Wine Region with over 70 wineries. And the in-town tasting rooms and pubs feature live music on a regular basis.

But our musical highlight is the Britt Festivals – the northwest's premier outdoor performing arts series that runs from June through September – is in a spectacular outdoor amphitheater just five blocks away. Additional cultural experiences include the Oregon Shakespeare Festival with performances from mid-February through October in neighboring Ashland, along with four other theater companies and several regional performing arts centers.

For the outdoor enthusiast there are numerous hiking and biking opportunities, including 20+ miles on the in-town Woodland Trails, as well as river rafting, kayaking, and fly fishing on the Rogue River, and downhill and cross-country skiing nearby. Fun day trips just a short drive away include Crater Lake, Oregon Caves and the redwood forests.

For an idea of all there is to do check out the Jacksonville tab and our suggested itinerary.

Ready for a winter break? Come stay with us in Febuary or March and enjoy the early season offerings at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival! The four opening shows are Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" and "King Lear", Lerner & Loewes' "My Fair Lady" and August Wilson's "Two Trains Running".  It's a great way to beat the winter blahs.
