TouVelle House is a handsome 3-story Craftsman style home which Judge Frank TouVelle had built as a wedding present for his wife Elizabeth in 1916. The house was designed by Elizabeth for gracious living and entertaining and integrated portions of an 1870's Victorian cottage. The house sits up on a knoll and is set well back from the sidewalk and street, creating a quite and serene retreat.
Even though it feels like you are in the country everything in town is just a short walk away. We are located just two blocks from the varied shopping, dining and wine tasting opportunities in historic downtown Jacksonville, and only four blocks from Britt Music Festivals. There are also plenty of common areas on the property – both inside and out – which provide plenty of spaces for your enjoyment without feeling you are on top of the other quests.
Whether you are planning a private get away or a gathering of friends or family, TouVelle House is a great choice. The house offers 6 guest rooms, all with private baths, which are described in detail in the Rooms Section. Each room offers individually controlled heating and air conditioning, We took extra time selecting the softest, smoothest Egyptian cotton sheets to ensure a good nights rest.
